If you have decided that you would like to apply to become a British citizen, then you will need to pass the Life in the UK test. We at SparkMultiMedia are aware that close to 100% of the people taking the test are non-native speakers and the market today offers revision material only in the English language. This can be problematic as we are aware that speaking and reading English as a foreign language is not the same as absorbing information in your mother tongue, we at SparkMultiMedia look to tackle this problem for you. Below we have included some information on how best to prepare for the test, some information regarding it and what the test actually is.
PREPARING FOR YOUR TEST
We provide you with official practice questions to help you to answer the questions correctly in the “Life in the UK test”. So as soon as you start studying our material, you can begin testing your knowledge with the option of seeing it in all of our translated languages English/ Spanish/ Polish/ Arabic/ Urdu/ Farsi (Dari/Persian). We have a vast database of questions allocated into reorganised test sheets, each with 24 questions, we provide detailed explanations and answers in all translated languages (English, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Urdu, Farsi /Persian/Dari).
We cannot guarantee that these practice questions are the ones you will get in your test, but by answering them correctly you can find out whether you are ready to take the test.
Before you take the test, you should complete all the practice questions in all categories. Aim to complete one category at a time, and time yourself with our inbuilt timer, allowing no more than the 45 minutes per test. Note which questions you get wrong, and make sure you re-read the relevant questions with their explanations to get a better understanding of it.
ABOUT THE TEST
“The Life in the UK test” consists of 24 questions about all important aspects of life in the UK today. You will take a computerised test with 45 minutes to complete all the questions. To pass the test, you have to answer 18 out of the 24 questions correctly. The questions are based on ALL parts of Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents.
Types of question you will be asked

Types of questions:
• Multiple-choice Questions: you are required to select ONE or TWO answers from a total of four options.
• True or False: This type of question requires you to decide whether a statement is True or False.
• Statements: Selecting one statement from two that you think is correct.
